We're looking for a Machine Learning Intern to build AI-powered tools that transform how HR works at Tesla. You'll work independently on high-impact projects, move fast, and see your code in production —used by thousands of employees across the company.

- Design, develop, and ship AI-powered software solving real HR problems with measurable impact
- Own your projects end-to-end: from understanding the problem from HR stakeholders, to writing the code, to deploying and maintaining the solution
- Extend existing systems with modern LLM capabilities to solve complex business problems
- Work with HR partners, data engineers, and recruiting teams to understand problems and build solutions
- Apply software engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, and containerization

- You've built and deployed something that other people actually used — in any stack. A live side project, a tool for your student org, freelance work, an open source contribution. Show us.
- Strong programming fundamentals and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly
- Genuine curiosity about AI — you experiment with new models and tools as they come out and can separate what's working from what's hype
- Good instincts for what's worth building. You think about impact, not just implementation.
- Self-starter with a strong bias for action — you take initiative and drive projects forward independently.
- Excellent English. German is a plus.
- Experience with web development stacks
- Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and React is a big plus
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL is a plus
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus
