Your role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a key role in driving process performance, operational excellence and innovation across Sedico RX Operations.

The role is responsible for leading process improvement initiatives, supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the consistent application of Group standards and Process Control Plans (PCPs). Working closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Central Teams, the successful candidate will contribute to process stability, productivity, quality and continuous improvement.

Main responsibilities:

- Ensure Process Control Plans (PCP) are implemented and respected.

- Manage and coach process technicians.

- Support production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and daily operations.

- Lead and follow new process and pilot project with the support of central teams.

- Lead process improvement projects based on production performance, process capability and customer returns.

- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.

- Promote local initiatives to align local standards to the group’s standards and practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration within Operations.

- Participate in EMEA Technoclubs with peers from other labs to exchange local performance and best practices.

Main requirements:

- Bachelor/master’s degree in industrial engineering, chemical engineering or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments preferred in the ophthalmic lenses industry.

- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Kaizen methodology are considered a plus.

- Previous team leadership or managerial experience.

- Experience working in fast-paced, cross-functional or international environments.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, Power BI and Copilot.

- Languages: English B2 or higher. Italian would be preferred.

- People oriented results driven.

Salary Package:

- Annual Gross Salary: 40.000 Eur – 45 .000 Eur
