Position Summary:

The Media Coordinator supports the planning, execution, monitoring and reporting of paid media programs across a diverse portfolio of B2B and B2C clients. Working closely with the Senior Media Manager, Media Director and specialized media partners, this role helps ensure campaigns are launched accurately, monitored consistently and managed according to client objectives, budgets and timelines.

This is an early-career role for someone who is analytical, creative, highly organized, curious about the changing media landscape and interested in developing a career in media planning and buying. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with data, managing details and deadlines, communicating with internal and external partners, and learning how different media channels work together to achieve client goals.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Support & Optimization

- Provide day-to-day support for client media programs across paid social, search, programmatic, display, CTV, digital audio, out-of-home and other media channels.

- Assist with campaign setup, trafficking, launches and ongoing campaign management.

- Monitor campaign performance, pacing and delivery and identify issues requiring attention.

- Support ongoing campaign optimization in partnership with the Senior Media Manager and specialized media partners.

Reporting & Analysis

- Monitor and analyze paid media performance and assist with monthly client reporting.

- Compile campaign data and help identify trends, insights and opportunities for optimization.

- Support development and maintenance of client dashboards and recurring performance reports.

Media Buying & Vendor Coordination

- Communicate with media vendors and partners regarding media availability, specifications, buying, campaign launches and issue resolution.

- Coordinate creative specifications, deadlines and asset delivery with internal teams and media partners.

- Track media buys and confirm campaigns are running according to approved schedules and placements.

- Build productive working relationships with media vendors, platform representatives and external specialists.

Budget & Billing Support

- Assist with management and tracking of client media budgets, including campaign pacing and planned versus actual spend.

- Maintain accurate media budget and buy documentation.

- Coordinate media buy submissions, invoices and processing with the accounting department.

- Identify budget discrepancies and work with the Senior Media Manager and accounting team to resolve issues.

- Support monthly billing reconciliation and other media financial processes.

Research & Media Trends

- Stay current on changes across social platforms, search, programmatic, streaming, retail media and other emerging channels.

- Develop knowledge across media channels while building deeper expertise in assigned platforms and client categories.

Client & Team Support

- Assist with preparation of media plans, client presentations, status reports and meeting materials.

- Participate in internal and client meetings as appropriate and help document decisions, action items and next steps.

- Communicate clearly and proactively with media team members, account teams, vendors and other internal partners.

- Manage multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

- Partner effectively across account management, creative, finance and other agency disciplines to support successful campaign execution.

Qualifications - Required

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, media or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and follow-through.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.

- Working knowledge of digital marketing, web traffic metrics and social media best practices.

- Interest in paid media, advertising platforms, consumer behavior and emerging media trends.

- Ability and willingness to learn new platforms, technologies and analytical tools.

Qualifications - Preferred

- Previous internship or professional experience in advertising, media, marketing or a related field.

- Familiarity with platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics or similar advertising and analytics tools.

This is a full-time in-office position in Atlanta, Georgia.
