THE POSITION
The Non-Competition Sites Coordinator supports the Non-Competition Sites Manager in the detailed planning, documentation, resource coordination and administration of Safety & Security arrangements across designated non-competition sites for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™.
The role supports the development and maintenance of Venue Safety & Security Plans, baseline physical and staffed security requirements, deployment information, supplier planning and readiness tracking. The Coordinator works closely with Team Services, relevant FIFA/FIFA27 functions, contracted security suppliers and the security representatives of hotels, training sites and other site authorities to ensure that NCS planning information is complete, accurate and ready for transition into decentralized delivery through Venue Safety and Security Managers (VSSMs).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Non-Competition Sites Manager in the development, maintenance and administration of Venue Safety & Security Plans for all designated non-competition sites.
- Maintain central records of baseline physical security requirements, staffing plans, posts and functions, operating hours, shift structures and other site security arrangements.
- Prepare and update baseline dot plans, deployment information, staffing tables and resource planning documentation.
- Support the development of baseline requirements for perimeters, access control, search and screening, asset protection, vehicle access and other relevant security measures.
- Work closely with Team Services to ensure that team and referee accommodation, training site schedules, operational requirements and relevant changes are accurately reflected in NCS planning.
- Coordinate with the security representatives of hotels, training sites and other site authorities to obtain information on existing security arrangements, site capabilities, responsibilities and operational constraints.
- Maintain structured records of site authority responsibilities, agreed security measures, dependencies, outstanding actions and planning decisions.
- Support coordination with relevant FIFA/FIFA27 functions and public security stakeholders on emergency arrangements, contingency requirements and other operational dependencies affecting NCS sites.
- Support preparation of Safety & Security inputs into Site Operating Plans and other relevant site planning documents.
- Support the NCS Manager in defining supplier requirements, staffing, operating hours, services and resources for contracted NCS security providers.
- Maintain central supplier planning records, readiness trackers, resource information and supporting documentation, including mobilization status, outstanding actions and identified gaps.
- Maintain and review supplier attendance, deployment and service-delivery evidence against approved staffing, operating hours, deployment plans and contractual requirements to support assurance and invoice verification.
- Ensure that approved central requirements, plans, resource parameters and unresolved actions are accurately documented and transferred to VSSMs as planning transitions into decentralized delivery.
- Support preparation of reports, presentations, briefings and management information for the Manager NCS and wider Safety & Security function.
- Provide accurate resource, deployment and supplier delivery information to support NCS budget control, forecasting, invoice verification and contract administration by the Manager NCS.
YOUR PROFILE
Education
- Degree in security management, business administration, project management, event management or a related field desirable.
- Relevant security, project coordination or administrative training is desirable.
Experience
- Strong experience in security planning, project coordination, operational administration or a comparable role.
- Experience supporting multi-site operations or complex event planning desirable.
- Experience preparing operational plans, deployment information or structured security documentation.
- Experience working with private security suppliers or site operators desirable.
- Experience maintaining resource, staffing or deployment records.
- Major sporting event experience is desirable.
