Job Responsibilities:

About the Role

Magna Wellness is a department of Magna International Inc. located in Aurora, Ontario. The purpose of the Magna Wellness division is to provide and coordinate health and wellness education, health screenings, and wellness activities within Magna's manufacturing facilities across Canada. This program delivers health seminars, webinars, health fairs, and health screenings to interested employees at their workplaces.

Your Responsibilities

- Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 annually.
- Responsible for health promotion activities, including the coordination and delivery of on-site wellness presentations, online resources, and health screenings for Magna employees.
- Coordinate with Human Resources to schedule on-site visits and obtain approval for wellness content.
- Prepare marketing materials, deliver presentations, and produce aggregate reports to evaluate the effectiveness of wellness programs.
- Track and report on all engagement activities, including coaching sessions, tabling events, and health screenings.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain Microsoft-based presentations (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) using consistent standards and procedures.
- Create innovative templates and visual assets, develop and maintain a visual media library (images, videos, and animations), and maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Lead, Health Promotion.

Who we are looking for

- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working with Canva and Microsoft Office applications.
- A team player with a positive and professional disposition.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

Your preferred qualifications

- Health-related degree, preferably an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Two or more years of related health promotion experience.

Work Environment

- Ability to travel within the GTA 50% to 75% of the time, with the flexibility to work varying shifts, including occasional evenings, to accommodate employees at manufacturing sites.
- The Coordinator will be required to travel regularly throughout Ontario, primarily within the GTA, with occasional overnight travel to remote sites.
