Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer candidate to join our team based out of King of Prussia, PA. This position is in the EMC2 market segment supporting United States Air Force specializing in software and systems engineering under the Weapons Platform Integration organization.
We are seeking candidates with strong problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills to support the U.S. Air Force’s JASSM Enterprise Management System (JEMS), Operational Real-Time Combat Analysis (ORCA), and JASSM SMART-Sync programs. In this role, the individual will generate system designs and mockups, write acceptance criteria, and develop manual test cases while also creating detailed bug reports that identify discrepancies between software behavior and intended design. Collaboration with team members will be essential for bug closeout and resolution. The position supports a broad range of systems engineering task areas, including use case development, requirements analysis and management, risk management, systems engineering documentation, CONOPS development, trade studies, and data analysis. Additionally, the contributor will produce various test and systems engineering documents that demand strong technical writing skills and a comprehensive understanding of system and software engineering principles.
Basic Qualifications
* Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
* Ability to Work Well in a Team Environment
* Experience generating software systems designs and mockups
* Experience with Requirements Development, Analysis or Management
* Familiarity with Agile methodolgies and team structure
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, with 2 years or more of professional experience
* Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills
* Experience Developing System Requirements, Interfaces, or Architectures using Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) tools
* Familiarity with Integration and Test of Web Applications
* Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) using Python
* Familiarity with structure query language (SQL) and database structure
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
