What You'll Do
- Design and support a variety of exciting land development projects, including commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use sites.
- Prepare site development plans involving grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, and erosion control.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop high-quality engineering drawings and construction documents.
- Perform engineering calculations related to site layout, utility systems, grading, and stormwater management.
- Assist with project permitting and coordinate with local, state, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, planners, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Conduct site visits and field investigations to support project planning and construction activities.
- Work alongside senior engineers and project managers to ensure successful project execution, quality, and budget performance.
- Contribute ideas that enhance project delivery, design standards, and team efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in Land Development or Site Development.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with grading design, drainage systems, utility layouts, and stormwater management.
- Strong understanding of site development engineering principles and construction documents.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- EIT certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with municipal permitting agencies and regulatory reviews.
- Exposure to commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering quality work.

This is a Permanent position based out of Chester, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
