About this role

Pharmacy Technician Description The Pharmacy Fill Technician accurately prepares prescriptions, including the careful picking, labeling, scanning, and final preparation of prescriptions for the pharmacist's verification. Additionally, they assist in maintaining a well-organized workspace and ensure compliance with regulations. Shift/Schedule: Monday-Friday 4 PM-12:30 AM Duties/Responsibilities:

- Pull/pick medications from shelving and other medication storage areas (pre-pack racks)
- Accuracy check of final preparation before presenting to the pharmacist
- Fill daily drug orders accurately and efficiently and in a timely and prioritized manner, under the supervision of a pharmacist
- Assist in processing returned drugs and recycle/dispose per procedure
- Assist in pre-packing frequently ordered medications; label and stock as needed during low-volume times
- Package materials and products manually
- Follow all applicable government regulations, including HIPAA
- Maintain clean/organized workstation areas and replenish all stock supplies needed each shift
- Alert the pharmacist on duty of any medication/product that is not scanning properly
- Comply with departmental policies regarding safety, attendance, and dress code
- Overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required and/or expected
- Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary depending on business needs

Skills & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required TN Pharmacy technician license Previous pharmacy experience preferred (one or more years of long-term care experience preferred)

This is a Contract position based out of Nashville, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
