Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator Job Description This part-time Clinical Research Coordinator position supports an ongoing cardiology clinical trial in Las Vegas, NV. The coordinator works approximately 20 hours per week and serves as one of the primary coordinators for the study. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can work independently, manage multiple study activities, and confidently engage with participants and research staff. The coordinator focuses on data integrity, participant engagement, and adherence to clinical research protocols, regulatory requirements, and study timelines. Responsibilities
- Serve as one of the primary Clinical Research Coordinators for an ongoing cardiology clinical trial.
- Work independently to manage multiple study activities while maintaining high accuracy and organization.
- Perform timely and accurate data entry into electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Verify data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency, and resolve data queries in collaboration with the study team.
- Retrieve and review medical records to support eligibility assessments, data verification, and documentation requirements.
- Conduct pre-screening of patients to assess eligibility for the clinical trial according to protocol criteria.
- Support patient recruitment efforts by identifying, contacting, and engaging potential participants.
- Coordinate and confirm participant appointments, including scheduling and appointment reminders.
- Conduct participant follow-up activities, including phone calls or other communication methods, to collect required data and ensure continued engagement in the study.
- Monitor and promote participant compliance with electronic diaries (e-diaries) and other study-related tools.
- Collaborate with investigators and research staff to ensure adherence to clinical trial protocols and timelines.
- Maintain compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, HIPAA requirements, and site-specific policies.
- Document study activities accurately and maintain organized study files and records.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- At least 1+ years of experience with electronic data capture (EDC) data entry.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Hands-on clinical research experience in a clinical trial setting.
- Experience with patient recruitment and pre-screening for clinical studies.
- Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to perform query resolution and data verification within EDC systems.
- Training in HIPAA regulations.
- Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with participants and research staff.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience supporting cardiology or other therapeutic area clinical trials.
- Familiarity with participant follow-up procedures and e-diary compliance monitoring.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced research environment requiring high attention to detail.
- Ability to build rapport with participants and maintain professional relationships with research staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills for addressing data issues and study-related challenges.
Work Environment This is a part-time role with a schedule of approximately 20 hours per week, aligned with normal business hours. The work environment is fast paced and requires sustained attention to detail, particularly in handling EDC systems, EMR platforms, and other clinical research tools. The coordinator collaborates closely with investigators and research staff while also working independently on assigned tasks. The setting emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely completion of study activities within a structured clinical research environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
