Job Summary
Join the Idira Credential Provider group as an R&D Manager to lead a brand-new team dedicated to a highly significant core product. You will drive deep, security-focused engineering to solve complex threat scenarios and elevate product resilience. Establish an Agentic SDLC and collaborate globally to recruit, mentor, and guide top engineering talent while remaining technically engaged. This is a unique opportunity to shape modern engineering workflows and deliver robust security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, build, and lead a new R&D team responsible for core components of the Idira Credential Provider.
- Drive seamless cross-site execution by collaborating daily with global R&D, Product, and Security counterparts.
- Develop and grow a team of talented engineers through mentoring, coaching, and technical guidance.
- Plan, design, and deliver a robust, scalable, and secure product.
- Own delivery of software that meets time, scope, security, and quality goals.
- Partner with Product and internal security teams to ensure the best compliance posture.
- Foster a culture of engineering excellence, collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a hands-on R&D Team Manager, with a proven track record in team building and direct people management.
- 6+ years of hands-on development experience, with a strong background in system architecture and software design.
- Deep proficiency in C++ alongside Java, C#, or Python.
- Exceptional communication skills with the proven ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Global R&D experience with a hands-on background in direct cross-site collaboration and maintaining high visibility.
- Proven track record of leading a team through the full SDLC, from design to deployment.
- Ability to anticipate, manage, and mitigate technical risks and project bottlenecks with autonomy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for AI-driven development and modern engineering workflows.
- Experience hardening products by translating complex security assessments into actionable engineering solutions.
- Familiarity with AWS technology stack, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS operational concepts.
- Familiarity with Secrets Management, Identity Security, or broader Security domains.
- Experience delivering enterprise-grade software for regulated environments, focusing on security, compliance, and reliability.
