Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials. This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.
The Senior TGCM Manager will be responsible for managing managers and an organization of over 40 people (and growing). The position requires a strong focus on safety, quality, reliability and customer satisfaction. Daily activities include working on multiple customer requests, managing the maintenance and operations managers, prioritizing work internally within the team as well as with the customer, involvement in incident investigations and reporting to the customer regarding key performance indicators.
Responsibilities
- On time, in spec, delivery of chemicals and/or gases to the customer
- Responsible for the maintenance of all chemical and/or gas systems.
- Manage operations or maintenance workforce. (Schedules, yearly end reviews, coaching or disciplinary actions)
- Responsible for ensuring training and qualifications of employees in all aspects of the operation, including Safety Training.
- Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.
- Manage succession planning for the operation.
- Hazardous Waste Supervisor: Responsible for Facility compliance requirements, use of appropriate documentation and procedures to ensure proper management of materials processed on-site and/or shipped off-site to treatment and disposal facilities. Emergency and spill response notifications, Federal/State Regulations, Waste chemical compatibility/Safety, maintaining a working knowledge of hazardous waste laws, promoting and initiating waste minimization program/activities, and attending waste management training classes.
- Safety Leadership is a primary accountability.
- Maintain Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Evaluate trends in monthly gas and/or chemical usage
- Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyzer calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements.
- Assist in the identification and resolution of gas and/or chemical related semiconductor-manufacturing problems
- Ensure Operations is completing rounds and AI's are escalated or driven to completion
- Maintain an Operations Task Analysis
- Drive 6S
- Maintain Site specific policies including but not limited to: Time cards, OT, Vacation, Safety, Appearance, Breaks, Electronics
- Responsible for performing investigations and generating 5-Why responses to incidents
- Coordinate with other TGCM Managers to share “Best Practices”.
- Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions. Audit staff regularly to ensure adherence to 2PV and accuracy
- Control operations costs.
- Coordinate with the account manager and the customer.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or Chemistry or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of Semiconductor TGCM management experience
- Good team leadership skills.
- Strong emphasis on safety
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong oral and written communications.
- Successful experience with conflict resolution
- Typically responsible for large teams or managing managers
Preferred Qualification s
- Experience in the semiconductor industry
