About Our Family

We are a busy, warm, and active multigenerational family with a full calendar and a lot of moving pieces to coordinate. Our home is welcoming and connected, and we value kindness, respect, open-mindedness, and a peaceful environment. Our household includes two children, one of whom is autistic. While this is not primarily a childcare role, we value someone who is comfortable around neurodivergent children and brings a patient, understanding, and accepting presence to the home.

While we have childcare support in place, the behind-the-scenes logistics of running the household still require a significant amount of mental energy. There are schedules to coordinate, activities and programs to manage, household services to arrange, groceries and supplies to keep stocked, repairs to follow up on, and countless small details that need attention. We are looking for someone who can step into that gap, take ownership of these details, and help make the household run more smoothly. Above all, we hope to welcome someone into our home who is warm, professional, and would genuinely enjoy becoming a trusted and valued part of the household.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are a true household manager at heart. You naturally think in systems, logistics, timelines, and next steps, and you enjoy bringing order to a busy environment. You do not need to be handed a checklist every morning. You can look at everything happening across the household, determine what needs attention, and take ownership from there.

You are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable making things happen. You can research options, make recommendations, coordinate details, and follow through until a task is complete. You communicate well, work independently, and feel empowered to suggest better ways of doing things. Just as importantly, you are kind, mature, respectful, and easy to have around. You are looking for a long-term relationship and want to become someone the household can genuinely rely on.
