About this role

Job Description: We are seeking a BIM Modeler to support BIM modeling, coordination, and model setup efforts for electrical and ICT (Information & Communications Technology) systems on large-scale projects, with an initial focus on data centers. This is a production-focused support role best suited for someone with strong Revit experience who enjoys developing and maintaining BIM models rather than performing engineering design. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and other trade partners to develop and maintain high-quality BIM models, support coordination efforts, and ensure project standards are followed. The primary focus will be on electrical BIM modeling, while also supporting ICT systems and layouts as needed. Candidates with backgrounds in electrical BIM modeling, electrical design support, or ICT/telecommunications drafting and modeling are encouraged to apply. Work Environment and Projects:

- 100% remote position with the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical and ICT systems
- Set up BIM models and ensure compliance with project standards and workflows
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and trade partners throughout project execution
- Review and incorporate redlines and design revisions into project models
- Support 3D coordination meetings and clash detection processes
- Perform drafting and design updates within Revit
- Assist project teams with model quality control and coordination efforts
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery
- Support the design team through BIM modeling and documentation; this role is not responsible for performing system design

Qualifications: Must Have

- 1-10 years of BIM experience, with 4-6 years preferred
- Experience using Revit in a BIM modeling environment
- Exposure to electrical systems, ICT systems, telecommunications systems, or closely related disciplines
- Experience with modeling, drafting, and 3D coordination
- Ability to read and interpret construction or design documents
- Experience working on commercial projects

- Electrical BIM coordination experience
- ICT/telecommunications design experience
- Electrical circuiting experience within Revit
- Data center project experience
- Experience performing clash detection and model coordination
- Background working for an engineering consulting firm, contractor, or design-build organization
- Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
