Summary Statement:

The Sr. Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for overseeing the collection and interpretation of data. This position will collaborate closely with the Director of Business Intelligence to deliver data-driven insights.

Primary Job Duties: Includes but is not limited to:

- Execute a roadmap of business-focused BI initiatives, ensuring a clear understanding of all deliverables and associated deadlines.
- Develop and maintain data management standards, and documentation of current data sources, raw data, data marts, transformations, and report specifications.
- Analyze and evaluate data requirements for business intelligence dashboards and reports and collaborate with IT teams to implement complex data integrations involving multiple tables across a single platform for business intelligence products.
- Oversee data quality by conducting data validation, troubleshooting, and resolving complex data issues to support the business intelligence team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills and must possess exceptional ability to collaborate well with individuals and teams at all levels, across all lines of business.
- Provide documentation, training, and support to end users to facilitate change management efforts and to drive adoption of report and dashboard solutions. These activities often require cross functional collaboration and the coordination of activities such as user acceptance testing, production deployments, training, and post deployment support.
- Oversee and manage critical property process improvement initiatives.
- Provide direction and oversight to project team to design and implement process efficiencies.
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications: Includes but is not limited to:

- Working knowledge SQL and data visualization tools, data warehouse, business intelligence reporting software, financial and gaming systems.
- Working knowledge in data analysis, modeling, integration and deriving KPI (key performance indicators) metrics.
- Ability to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge with project management and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Polished appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to successfully lead and mentor a team.

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Working knowledge of gaming regulations.
- Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.

Minimum Education and Experience:

- At least 21 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two years of analytical experience and database management.

Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:

- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
- Ability to obtain the following: Nevada Gaming Registration
