Big Bend Health is looking for a Community Impact Partnership Coordinator who knows how to connect with people, build relationships, inspire others, and turn community connections into meaningful impact.

This isn't simply a volunteer coordination position.

As the Community Impact Partnership Coordinator, you will serve as a visible representative of Big Bend Health throughout Bay, Jackson, Washington, Holmes, Calhoun, and Gulf Counties , building relationships with community partners, recruiting and engaging volunteers, and developing Advisory Councils that help strengthen our connection to the communities we serve.

Cultivate meaningful relationships with businesses, organizations, community leaders, schools, civic groups, and other partners to expand awareness of Big Bend Health and create new opportunities for community involvement.

Recruit, welcome, train, support, recognize, and engage volunteers while matching their interests, talents, and availability with opportunities where they can make a meaningful difference.

🌟 CREATE A CULTURE OF ENGAGEMENT

Develop creative strategies to attract, engage, and retain volunteers. Create opportunities to celebrate and recognize the people who give their time, talents, and hearts to our mission.

🏛️ BUILD STRONG ADVISORY COUNCILS

Help develop and strengthen Advisory Councils throughout the territory. Recruit and orient members, facilitate meetings, coordinate projects, maintain communication, and help ensure community voices are represented in Big Bend Health's work.

📣 BE A COMMUNITY AMBASSADOR

Represent Big Bend Health at community events, volunteer recruitment events, educational programs, and outreach activities. Help tell the story of hospice and palliative care and the difference our organization makes for patients and families.

💡 TURN CONNECTIONS INTO IMPACT

Work alongside community partners, Advisory Council members, volunteers, and Big Bend Health leaders to identify community needs and develop initiatives that create meaningful, measurable impact.

Track volunteer recruitment, engagement, service activity, Advisory Council participation, community outreach, and other key measures. Help leadership understand what's working, where opportunities exist, and how we can continue to grow our community impact.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, social work, human resources, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent related experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.

You should have at least three years of experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement, marketing, public relations, administration, healthcare, or a related field, with experience coordinating volunteers, committees, community partners, or similar groups.

You'll also need excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.

A valid Florida driver's license is required, as this position regularly travels throughout the assigned territory.
