Help create a home where recovery can take root. Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a full-time House Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Stepping Forward Women residence while providing support, structure, and encouragement to women working toward stability and recovery. In this role, you will help create a safe, welcoming, trauma-informed environment where residents can build independence, take ownership of their recovery, and move forward with confidence. The residence may serve women receiving ASAM 3.1 services or residing in certified recovery housing, including pregnant women and mothers with infants.

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?

- Oversee daily residential operations, household routines, supplies, maintenance, and safety.

- Orient residents to house expectations, schedules, emergency procedures, rights, and program agreements.

- Enforce program guidelines and resident agreements through consistent coaching, redirection, documentation, and escalation.

- Maintain a structured, trauma-informed recovery environment that promotes respectful interactions, healthy boundaries, and conflict resolution.

- Promote resident independence, daily living skills, treatment participation, and individualized recovery goals.

- Assist with care coordination and connections to housing, transportation, benefits, employment, education, childcare, and recovery resources.

- Facilitate approved recovery-support, life-skills, and psychoeducational classes within assigned qualifications and authority.

- Reinforce established treatment plans, share objective resident observations, and participate in treatment-team meetings.

- Monitor financial agreements and payment expectations; coordinate records and payment concerns with billing or administrative staff.

- Reinforce child supervision, safe-sleep, and parenting expectations; connect families with resources and report safety concerns.

- Assist with resident admissions, transitions, transfers, and discharge arrangements as directed.

- Respond to safety concerns and crises using established protocols; obtain emergency assistance and perform interventions within training and authority.

- Perform authorized medication-related duties and promptly report missed doses, discrepancies, suspected diversion, or adverse reactions.

- Complete timely, objective documentation and incident reports; maintain shift communication and protect confidential information.

- Provide designated staff direction, orientation, and coaching; assist with coverage and report performance or conduct concerns.

- Participate in training, drills, and program improvement; perform other assigned duties within role boundaries and escalate decisions requiring clinical, medical, or supervisory authority.

Qualifications

WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree or higher preferred.

- Experience in residential services, substance use treatment, recovery housing, behavioral health, or services for pregnant or parenting women.

- Supervision experience preferred.

- Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid, naloxone, and verbal de-escalation and crisis intervention training.

- Effective communication, sound judgement, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.

- Must possess and maintain a valid drivers license and a driving record that meets the eligibility requirements of the Companys automobile insurance carrier. This requirement applies when driving for Company business, regardless of whether a Company-owned or personal vehicle is used. Employees using a personal vehicle for Company business must maintain legally required automobile insurance coverage.
