AI&T Senior Product Manager – Strategic Upstream Marketing

Position Summary: This is an exciting opportunity for an innovative marketing professional with product development experience to join the AI&T Strategic Marketing team as we drive patient-focused marketing strategy for early-stage device programs and shape the evolving landscape of solutions for non-valvular structural heart disease. This role defines and drives needs-based upstream marketing activities for early-stage product development projects, including business cases, product requirements, and competitive intelligence initiatives.
How you will make an impact:
- Provide direction and guidance based on expert understanding of internal and external device and market dynamics (e.g., product functionality, lifecycle, voice of customer research, clinical evidence) to new product development (NPD) project teams
- Design, collect, and interpret market research and voice-of-customer (VOC) strategies in order to define unmet needs and product requirements for early-stage product lines
- Build trust with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to anticipate the future market environment, changes in economic climate, the onset of new competitors (including substitutes and adjacent players), and future needs for current and future customers
- Plan and execute marketing projects and activities, with accountability for successful completion, including VOCs, physician visits, needs prioritization, etc. to drive the development of product requirements
- Support technical teams during design validations, usability studies, and the development of instructions for use (IFUs) and physician training
- Drive alignment by influencing with data and effectively collaborating with cross-functional partners, especially R&D and Clinical peers
- Identify, track, predict, and prepare for the onset of new competitors including adjacent players
- Define differentiated value propositions, positioning, and messaging for internal product lines
- Partner with creative agencies for development of product images, animations, and naming
- Review design control documents and labeling through Marketing lens to ensure accuracy, clarity, and timely execution
- Effectively showcase internal portfolio of therapies and clinical data for both internal and external audiences
- Develop key relationships with KOLs, physicians, internal leadership, and cross-functional partners across the organization through exceptional communication and collaboration
- Demonstrate deep understanding of the product development process (PDP), customer needs, and the Heart Failure space, in order to provide insights and inform early-stage product development, claims substantiation, and VOC strategy

What you will need (required):
- Bachelor's Degree in related field, 8+ years of relevant work experience in medical device marketing or healthcare industry required OR
- Master's Degree or equivalent in in related field, 6+ years of relevant experience in medical device marketing or healthcare industry

- Understanding of marketing across the product lifecycle, including clinical, competitive, and physician engagement strategies
- Ability to translate complex clinical and market insights into clear, actionable marketing strategies, inputs, and messages
- Excellent strategic thinking and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional and senior stakeholders
- Strong collaboration skills across marketing, strategy, R&D, clinical, and regulatory teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an ambiguous, evolving environment
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to track performance and optimize marketing impact
- Ability to build trusted relationships with physicians and key opinion leaders
- Ability to operate with high ownership, productivity, accountability, and adaptability
- Ability to execute comprehensive marketing strategies with supporting plans and tactics
- Ability to measure and track performance and success of programs and initiatives
- Experience working in Cardiology / Structural Heart Disease / Heart Failure
- Onsite role; domestic and international travel up to 25%
- Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and project management skills
- Adherence to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $126,000 - $178,000 (highly experienced).
