Job Title: Bilingual HR Associate Job Description The Bilingual HR Associate supports a broad range of human resources activities, including recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management, while providing bilingual support in both English and Spanish. This role offers the opportunity to work in a small-company culture with high visibility to leadership and direct exposure to ownership, contributing to a major HRIS transformation and the development of HR processes in a growing organization. Responsibilities
- Support the full recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and role requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Act as an employee relations representative by addressing employee questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Partner with management to help resolve employee issues and support positive working relationships across the organization.
- Assist with the development and implementation of company training programs, ensuring employees receive appropriate onboarding and ongoing development.
- Support the performance management process, including coordinating goal setting, tracking evaluations, and assisting with development planning.
- Provide administrative support for HR processes, including maintaining accurate records in HRIS systems and preparing HR-related documentation.
- Assist with onboarding activities to ensure new employees have a smooth and welcoming transition into the organization.
- Deliver customer serviceoriented support to employees and leaders, responding to HR-related inquiries and providing guidance on policies and procedures.
- Contribute to HR initiatives related to a major HRIS transformation by helping to establish and refine processes in a new system environment.
Essential Skills
- 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on training, employee relations, and talent-related activities.
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience using HRIS systems for HR data and process management.
- Experience providing administrative support in an HR environment.
- Customer service mindset with a focus on supporting employees and internal stakeholders.
- Experience supporting onboarding processes.

Work Environment This role primarily supports a facility in Wheeling, working closely with approximately 35 employees. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The organization offers a small-company, family-oriented culture with frequent employee appreciation events, including meals, annual bowling events, holiday celebrations, and occasional outings such as baseball games. Employees also enjoy a unique beef/meat benefit through a customer partnership. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
