About the Position
We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to join our hotel team. The AGM will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily hotel operations, support the team, maintain guest satisfaction, and ensure the property consistently meets company and brand standards.
The ideal candidate is a dependable hospitality professional who can lead by example, communicate effectively, hold team members accountable, and step in wherever needed to keep the hotel running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the General Manager with the overall daily operation of the hotel.
- Lead, coach, and support front desk, housekeeping, breakfast, and other hotel team members.
- Ensure excellent guest service and respond professionally to guest concerns.
- Monitor daily arrivals, departures, occupancy, room status, and operational needs.
- Support scheduling, staffing, training, and onboarding of employees.
- Ensure employees complete required brand, safety, and company training.
- Follow up on employee performance, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to hotel policies.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, appearance, and guest readiness throughout the property.
- Work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance to address room and property issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and proper use of hotel supplies.
- Support cash handling, deposits, reports, and other administrative responsibilities.
- Help ensure compliance with Hilton and company standards, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with inspections, quality assurance, audits, and preparation for brand reviews.
- Handle escalated guest concerns and operational issues in a calm and professional manner.
- Serve as the manager on duty when the General Manager is unavailable.
- Communicate important operational updates to management and staff.
- Help create a positive, professional, and accountable work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.

- Experience with hotel PMS systems and Hilton brand standards is a plus.
