Your role, your contribution!
- Prepare financial statements and manage technical client work, including IFRS reporting and complex group structures, with working knowledge of income tax, company tax, GST, FBT, trusts, and management accounting
- Work on business advisory projects such as: budgets and cashflows, KPI dashboards and management reporting
- Assist with managing and developing a portfolio of clients across a broad range of industries, ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
- Liaise with the IRD and other Government bodies on client matters
- Ensure all documentation including work papers and client files are maintained in line with Findex Group compliance requirements
- Maintain up to date technical knowledge to ensure compliance with all statutory and relevant regulatory requirements

What you bring to the role:
- Previous business advisory accounting experience gained within public practice with a CA/CPA qualification
- Degree-qualified accountant, CA/CPA complete or underway
- Utilise your strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (e.g. Xero, MYOB).
- Strong commercial acumen paired with sound technical accounting and analytical skills
- Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to team
- Ability to develop positive relationships with key stakeholders and clients
