The Opportunity

Komatsu is a global OEM and leading provider of mining and construction equipment, with more than 100 years of industry experience and around 3,500 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

We’re looking for a Service Administrator to join our Mt Thorley branch, providing essential administrative and customer support to the Service Department. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with the Service Manager and wider branch team to keep service administration running efficiently and customers supported.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the Service Department, including:

- Processing service invoices accurately and following up outstanding purchase orders.

- Monitoring Work in Progress (WIP) and supporting timely invoicing of completed jobs.

- Entering and maintaining accurate information across business systems.

- Preparing payroll information and supporting warranty administration and factory claims.

- Managing service-related cash sales and reconciliations.

- Providing professional customer service to internal and external customers.

- Coordinating vehicle servicing and repairs, along with general branch administration.

- Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and efficiency

Role Located: Mount Thorley, NSW
Roster: Monday to Friday / 7:00am to 3:00pm or 8:00am to 4:00pm

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is organised, customer-focused and confident managing a range of administrative responsibilities in a busy branch environment.

You’ll bring:

- Previous experience in an administration or business support role.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

- Basic accounting knowledge and strong attention to detail.

- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

- Experience using business systems; SAP and Dynamics AX experience would be advantageous.
