Job Description

Role Summary:
The Sr. Marketing Manager is responsible for developing marketing objectives, strategies, and programs to support the achievement of Visa’s business and brand objectives. This role participates in the development of company marketing programs, assesses market potential, plans product life cycles, coordinates technical product development, and defines promotional activities and product launches. Activities may include technical sales support, product advertising and promotion, planning, developing, and implementing multiple channel programs, and the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines.

All roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead end to end merchant campaigns across EKQ to drive market wide impact , ensuring strong merchant value proposition,  measurable impact on PVs and seamless cross-functional alignment.
- Identify, negotiate, and activate strategic, local, regional and international partners and expedite this across key travel and retail corridors, with the main objective of driving incremental PVs and expanding Visa cards usage.
- Capitalize on the strong rapport with top merchants across EKQ markets and lead the merchant relationship focusing on market specific asks.
- As the banks and the markets requirements expand, the project manager will seamlessly onboard merchants to cater to different campaign needs across several verticals, and with different market approaches to meet their objectives.
- Oversee end to end creative development and media planning ensuring consistent messaging, and timely delivery across channels while leveraging data driven insights to optimize performance.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Experience in developing marketing strategies and programs.
- Experience in product life cycle planning and technical product development.
- Experience in defining and implementing promotional activities.
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams for marketing initiatives.
- Experience in assessing market potential and identifying growth opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Experience in leading marketing communications and creative development.
- Experience in developing and implementing multiple channel programs.
- Experience in technical sales support and product advertising.
- Experience in developing company market requirements for specific products or product lines.
