Your Impact:
As a Senior Software Developer, you will join a cross-functional team working with AI/ML As a Senior Software Developer, you will join a cross-functional team working with AI/ML specialists to build a next-generation Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform. This cloud-ready solution will automate how enterprise content is ingested, understood, extracted, validated and integrated into business workflows. You will draw on your software engineering experience to design and deliver enterprise-grade software solutions.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to navigate and contribute effectively to large, complex codebases.
What the role offers:
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software solutions using C# and related technologies.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and promote a design-driven development culture.
- Analyze and enhance existing large-scale applications while ensuring maintainability and long-term sustainability.
- Collaborate closely with peers from product development and product management to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive transparency through proactive communication, effective documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Design and implement robust data processing and digitalization workflows.
- Participate in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational support activities.
- Contribute to modernization initiatives involving Linux-based platforms, containers, cloud-native technologies, and automation.
What you need to succeed:
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem (any flavor of .NET, including .NET Framework and modern .NET).
- Experience with C/C++ is considered a significant advantage.
- Proven ability to work effectively within large-scale, mature codebases, including understanding architectural dependencies, maintaining code quality, and driving sustainable improvements.
- Demonstrated commitment to clear communication, transparency, and visibility across teams and stakeholders. These are considered mandatory success factors for the role.
- Proven design-first approach with a track record of translating business requirements into well-structured, maintainable, and scalable software architectures.
- Experience in data processing and digitalization solutions, including but not limited to:
- Relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
- Data transformation and integration
- Document and data capture workflows
- Data quality and information lifecycle management
- Good working knowledge of Linux environments and modern containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices including source control, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews.
Desired/Preferred skills:
- Understanding of IDP techniques such as OCR, image preprocessing, layout analysis, document understanding, key-value and table extraction, confidence scoring, and human-in-the-loop validation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within distributed teams.
- Passion for software design, code quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
- Familiarity with cloud messaging technologies such as Google Cloud Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or equivalent services.
- Knowledge of cloud observability, security, scalability, and reliability practices.
