We aim to provide a web experience that is easy to understand and navigate, enabling first-party and third-party workloads to onboard seamlessly.</span> <br> <br><span>The Fabric Platform Shell team is hiring a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across key areas of the Microsoft Fabric platform experience. This role combines hands-on engineering with ownership of architecture, technical strategy, and execution for large-scale initiatives spanning multiple teams and geographies. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: </p><p>This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. </p><p><strong>Preferred/Additional Qualifications </strong></p><p>Experience leading the architecture and delivery of large-scale web applications, cloud services, or platform capabilities. <br>Experience serving as a technical lead, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction across teams. <br>Experience building modern full-stack solutions using web technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and cloud services. <br>Experience driving complex initiatives across multiple teams and delivering results in highly collaborative environments. <br>Interest in AI-assisted and agentic development experiences, developer productivity, or intelligent platform capabilities. <br>Experience building developer platforms, SaaS products, data platforms, analytics systems, or other large-scale enterprise software is a plus. </p><p><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer (EOP) </strong></p><p>Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
