Apply now for the position of MEA Head of Performance Controlling based in Dubai , United Arab Emirates where you will be responsible for performance controlling for the DX Zone MEA business unit and serve as a key member of the DX MEA leadership team.
Reporting directly to the DX MEA Zone Head of Finance, you will lead and develop a team of approximately 5 finance professionals across different locations and areas of expertise.
Your Role:
- You will lead the timely and accurate execution of all core Finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial closings, reporting, and performance reviews.
- You will provide management with a sound basis for decision-making through insightful financial analyses, forward-looking business steering, and transparent performance reporting.
- Acting as a trusted business partner to Business Unit, Business Line, and functional management, you will challenge the status quo, identify improvement opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
- You will drive financial transparency, support on productivity, profitability, cash, and value creation across the entire DX MEA Business.
- You will lead the preparation of clear, concise, and insightful monthly and quarterly commentary for assigned areas of responsibility within set deadlines.
- You will deliver accurate forecasts, management reports, financial bridges, legal-entity reviews & other ad hoc requests.
- You will actively shape and continuously improve the Finance operating model, ensuring efficient, scalable, and future-oriented Finance processes.
- You will leverage digital technologies, automation, advanced analytics, and Artificial Intelligence to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and decision quality within performance controlling.
Work Experience
- Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Economics or a comparable field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in Finance, Performance Controlling, Corporate Controlling, Business Administration, or a related leadership function at business unit, division Preferably in Healthcare or Diagnostics Field.
- You have a strong track record in leading high-performing teams and developing talents in an international environment.
- You have gained experience in a project-, product-, and/or service-oriented business environment and possess a strong understanding of operational and financial value drivers.
- You are experienced in financial reporting and accounting principles according to IFRS.
- You combine strong analytical skills with a business-oriented mindset and are able to translate financial insights into actionable management decisions.
- You have demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation, automation, data analytics, and AI initiatives within Finance or related business functions.
- You are comfortable navigating complex stakeholder environments and building strong partnerships across business, functions, and corporate organizations.
- You possess excellent communication and influencing skills and are capable of interacting confidently with senior management in an international setting.
