About this role
**About DeweyLearn**
DeweyLearn exists to help organizations preserve and scale expert judgment. We believe the most valuable knowledge in any organization doesn’t live in manuals or policies, it lives in the decisions experts make every day. Our platform captures that expertise, transforms it into scalable AI systems, and applies it to authentic assessment, coaching, certification, quality assurance, and any workflow where human judgment matters.
DeweyLearn is an AI-powered human assessment and evaluation platform. Our multimodal system analyzes audio and video of real learning, training, and coaching sessions using observational frameworks developed with domain experts, then turns what it sees into structured insight for assessment, coaching, certification, and quality assurance. Our partners span higher education, corporate training, clinical practice, and K-12 education.
DeweyLearn won the GSV Cup grand prize at the 2026 ASU+GSV Summit as the world’s best edtech startup, and recently closed a Series A led by SJF Ventures.
Tasks
**About the role**
You own end-to-end product management across existing verticals, new verticals, and internal tooling. Working with the Head of Product, you take a focused approach to understanding the problem, and building, validating, launching, and improving a solution that people actually use. Use cases might include a nursing simulation workflow, a repeatable solution for an existing customer need, or an internal tool that helps our team deliver faster.
This is a hands-on building role. You use agentic tools to compose existing DeweyLearn and third-party capabilities, configure workflows, and test working solutions. You partner with Customer Success and domain experts to understand the use case, and with Engineering and Product Delivery to deliver it successfully. You own the assigned product’s outcomes, then take on new opportunities as the solution becomes repeatable, and ongoing ownership is clear.
Requirements
**What you'll do**
Understand the use case: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, customers, and domain experts to identify the problem, current process, and evidence of value.
* Build the complete solution. Configure workflows, prompts, evaluation frameworks, and integrations using existing capabilities and agentic tools. Work with Engineering when platform changes are needed.
* Validate in real use. Test the full customer or internal workflow against agreed quality criteria, review failures with relevant domain and technical owners, and iterate.
* Launch and drive adoption. Coordinate readiness, onboarding, and handover with Product Delivery. Partner with Customer Success and Product Marketing on demos, enablement, and feedback.
* Own the outcomes. Track useful adoption, quality, time to first value, and commercial contribution. For internal tools, demonstrate time savings, improved throughput, or reduced errors.
* Make it repeatable. Reduce bespoke setup and support, build reusable workflows, and turn user learning into product improvements and roadmap input for the Head of Product.
**About the Candidate**
* Curiosity and adaptability: You learn new domains quickly and recognize when to involve specialists or engineers. You can move between industries and internal use cases while staying focused on outcomes. Experience in education, assessment, workflow automation, integrations, or AI evaluation is helpful, not required.
* Agentic building: You use AI tools to build working solutions, inspect outputs critically, troubleshoot failures, and improve them. You do not need to be a software engineer, but you enjoy making things work.
* Ownership and judgment: You can show useful things you have built and shipped, and explain your decisions and results. You may be early in your career; demonstrated ownership matters more than years in a PM title. Personal, academic, internal, and customer projects all count.
* Customer-close learning: You seek out users and domain experts, test assumptions in real workflows, and turn what you learn into concrete changes. You follow through beyond a demo and communicate tradeoffs clearly.
**What this role is not**
* Not a role with a ready-made playbook—you won’t always have a defined roadmap, established tools, or an existing solution. The Head of Product sets priorities; you take ownership of figuring out how to achieve the outcome.
* Not a coordination-only role — you build working solutions and own product outcomes, rather than only writing specs or tracking delivery.
* Not a solo engineering or domain-expert role — you work hands-on with agentic tools while partnering with customers, Customer Success, specialists, Engineering, and Product Delivery.
**How we hire**
We care about what you can do and how you think, not where you've done it. We're hiring for talent that amplifies the team. We evaluate candidates on concrete examples, demonstrably deep knowledge, and real work samples — and on the judgment and self-direction that come from having done work like this before, without a manager scripting the moves.
**The team you're joining**
DeweyLearn is a small, close-knit team, moving fast, with a deep conviction in the impact DeweyLearn can have on learning and learners. We emphasize fun and a high level of collaboration, while holding each other accountable to our shared outcomes. We hire on ability and judgment, not pedigree, and we trust deeply once we do. We bias toward straight talk, deliver on what we said we would, and treat play and curiosity as part of how the team discovers what to build. We refuse to ship work we wouldn't be proud of.
Benefits
**Compensation & logistics**
Medical benefits and flexible PTO. Remote-first, with occasional travel for customer visits and team events.
