About this role
Position is responsible for set up and operation of machinery to combine dry and/or liquid chemicals into customer products. Ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible cost and meets customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Avient policies and procedures.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred.
• Prior experience operating production equipment, machinery, or manufacturing processes preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow standard work instructions, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify equipment or process issues and assist with basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently perform production activities and make routine decisions within established procedures.
• Experience supporting or training less-experienced production operators preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on product quality, safety, and productivity.
• Ability to accurately complete production records, quality checks, and other required documentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and other support functions.
