You will help bring Shell's corporate narrative to life across digital platforms, working closely with teams across Communications, Brand and Digital. The role focuses on driving integration, strengthening consistency across channels, and ensuring content and campaigns work together to support communications priorities.
What you will do

- Define corporate content structures, user journeys and content models, including information architecture and page structure, in partnership with the Web Assurance team and in line with defined digital frameworks and standards.
- Define and implement scalable global-to-local content frameworks across corporate web pages, partnering with Web and Content teams to ensure consistency, clarity and quality across markets.
- Lead the corporate communications experience across key corporate sections on shell.com, including “Who we are”, “What we do” and “News and Insights”, working with subject matter experts to ensure alignment with corporate communications priorities, regulatory requirements and agreed governance.
- Own the strategic planning and optimisation of the homepage, collaborating with teams across Strategic Communications and Brand to ensure it reflects corporate communications priorities, audience needs and reputation objectives.
- Lead optimisation of corporate content for search and AI-driven discovery (SEO/GEO), embedding best practice into content structure within the corporate content framework.
- Use analytics, search data and performance insights to continuously optimise content, improve discoverability and inform content prioritisation.
- Ensure integration of corporate communications across web and owned digital channels.
- Own and optimise key digital storytelling formats across shell.com, including “Our Stories” and “The Energy Podcast”, ensuring alignment with corporate communications priorities and audience needs.
What you bring
- Significant experience in corporate digital content and web management, with a strong understanding of how content supports corporate reputation and business objectives.
- Strong experience in shaping and optimising web content structures (e.g. information architecture, page design, content models) to improve usability, clarity and discoverability.
- Strong expertise in SEO and GEO, with the ability to embed best practice into content development and optimisation.
- Strong analytical capability, with experience using data, search insights and performance metrics to inform content decisions and drive continuous optimisation.
- Experience managing and optimising multi-format digital content (e.g.: web, video, audio), including channel-level delivery and performance improvement.
- Experience interacting with a complex group of stakeholders, enabling the best possible performance by collaborating and working across teams.
- Curiosity and awareness of external digital trends, platforms and technologies, and their application to corporate communications.
