Job Title: Commodity Manager Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commodity Manager to join our team at our Bellevue location. This role requires a professional with a strong background in supply chain management and commodity procurement, specifically in technical areas such as machined parts, optics, harnessing, valves, motors, and hardware. Candidates must meet specific export control requirements due to applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies and negotiate agreements and statements of work.
- Drive hardware delivery through the product life cycle, ensuring timely and quality deliveries at the right cost.
- Analyze industry trends and evolving technology to identify and execute cost-reduction projects and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Influence suppliers' manufacturing processes and technology decisions for mutual benefit.
- Manage cross-functional projects to meet commitments and goals.
- Drive financial modeling of large and complex deals.
- Evaluate and monitor critical supplier performance, focusing on financial health, quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
- Ensure orders are released and scheduled to meet production system needs.
- Lead cross-functional meetings with clear documentation, agenda creation, note capture, and follow-up activity coordination.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing, stakeholder management, and purchase order management.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Experience working in fast-paced, innovative NPI environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, global contract management, and process improvement.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Experience managing technical commodities such as machined parts, optics, wire harnesses, valves, motors, and hardware components.
- Experience using multiple ERP or equivalent procurement tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies.
Work Environment
This position is based onsite in Bellevue, WA, with a daily schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM PT. Candidates should be prepared to cover parking or consider public transportation options. There is a possibility of overtime, weekend, or holiday work, though travel expectations are less than 20%.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
