Location/Office Policy: Molesworth st, Dublin (Hybrid working – 3 days in office)

Salary: €27,500

Duration: 6 –months, commencing January 2027

- Are you a recent master’s graduate considering whether to pursue a PhD or begin a career in industry, OR a current PhD student interested in gaining practical industry experience?

- Are you enthusiastic about causal inference and curious about whether behaviourally informed interventions work? Are you interested in using statistical and econometric tools to evaluate their effects on consumer financial decision-making?

- Would you like to gain hands-on experience preparing and analysing large datasets and using data visualisation to communicate insights?

What is the Role:

The Customer Base Management team is looking for two interns to join its six-month Postgraduate Internship in Customer Analytics, commencing in January 2027. The internship is designed for candidates interested in gaining practical industry experience in causal inference and marketing analytics. You will work with large datasets to evaluate the effectiveness of direct customer communications and use data visualisation to communicate your findings.

We are looking for candidates who are ready to put on their “scientist goggles”: to approach questions with curiosity, challenge assumptions with evidence, and remain open to revising their conclusions when the data points in a different direction.

This internship offers opportunities to:

- Apply statistical and econometric skills to real-world business questions;

- Work on specific analytical projects and present your findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders; and

- Build your professional network through a semi-structured networking programme facilitated by the team’s people leader.

What you will bring:

- A completed master’s degree or current enrolment in a PhD programme in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Physics, Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related discipline with a strong quantitative component.

- Proficiency in Python or R for statistical analysis and a basic understanding of SQL.

- Experience creating data visualisations using tools such as Python, R, Power BI or Tableau.
