Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Aerospace Technician Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Aerospace Technician skilled in fine mechanical assembly, precision soldering, and the integration of aerospace and defense hardware. This role involves working with electromechanical components and subassemblies, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire, solder, inspect, and test electromechanical components and subassemblies.
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards meticulously.
- Build high-reliability hardware for aerospace, space, aviation, or defense manufacturing environments.
Essential Skills
- Strong hand-soldering skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in electrical, mechanical assembly, and environmental testing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical work instructions.
- Experience with high-reliability hardware in aerospace, space, aviation, or defense sectors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with fine mechanical assembly of aerospace, satellite, or defense hardware using precision hand tools and measurement equipment.
- Proficiency in IPC-J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 soldering standards, including through-hole and surface-mount soldering.
- Ability to maintain strict quality and configuration control standards.
Work Environment
The role is based in an on-site manufacturing environment, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. The dress code is casual.

This is a Contract position based out of Thornton, CO.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $41.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
