Job Title: Interior Designer Job Description This role is ideal for an interior designer with 35 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or commercial space planning, with a strong focus on commercial office and tenant improvement projects. You will create space plans and construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD, contribute to multiple active tenant projects, and collaborate closely with a small, highly team-oriented group. The position suits professionals who are energetic, collaborative, passionate about design, eager to learn and grow, and interested in commercial interiors, drafting, and design rather than pursuing architectural licensure. Responsibilities

- Develop efficient and accurate drawings, floor plans, and space plans for commercial office and tenant improvement projects.
- Produce detailed construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD to support ongoing and new initiatives.
- Support multiple active tenant projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
- Contribute to ongoing design revisions and space modifications as project requirements evolve.
- Assist with new building and construction initiatives from a design and space planning perspective.
- Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional team in a highly team-oriented environment.
- Help manage increasing design demand by providing consistent, high-quality drafting and documentation support.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and when needed, support interactions with brokers and tenants.
- Adapt to fluctuating workloads, taking on additional team support tasks during slower periods.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure smooth coordination across development, construction, leasing, and property-related activities.

Essential Skills

- 35 years of experience in commercial interiors and tenant improvement or tenant development projects.
- Background in interior design, architecture, or commercial space planning.
- Strong proficiency in Revit for design, drafting, and documentation.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for producing drawings and floor plans.
- Experience creating space plans and construction documents for commercial office environments.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to support multiple project requirements at once and manage shifting priorities.
- Comfort working in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Office tenant improvement (TI) experience.
- Experience working directly with brokers and tenants in a commercial setting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- Degree or formal education in interior design or architecture is preferred.
- Experience with Procore for project and construction management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for design-related presentations and materials.
- Experience using Bluebeam for markups and document review is a plus.
- Exposure to SolidWorks or similar design tools is advantageous but not required.
- Understanding of architecture and commercial building processes, even in a non-licensure-focused environment.
- Interest in design, drafting, and commercial interiors rather than pursuing architectural licensure.
- Ability to thrive in weeks that are extremely busy and remain engaged and supportive during slower periods.

Work Environment This is a full-time, on-site role based in Broomfield, Colorado, with a Monday through Friday schedule. You will work in a small, collaborative office of about 10 people locally, with a broader organization of over 50 colleagues in Maryland, providing exposure to development, construction, leasing, and property-related impact across a regional portfolio. The environment is extremely collaborative and team-oriented, with regular interaction across disciplines. Dress code is typical professional office attire suitable for a commercial real estate and design-focused setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
