About the Role
##
The Manager, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is primarily responsible for leading the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Teranet's Business Continuity Management (BCM) Program. Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Risk Management, and working closely with the Senior Manager ERM, the role serves as the organization's primary subject matter expert for Business Continuity and Operational Resilience.
You will be accountable for advancing BCM program maturity, facilitating business impact analyses, maintaining continuity planning standards, coordinating enterprise-wide testing and exercise activities, enhancing crisis management preparedness, monitoring resilience metrics, and overseeing business continuity and resilience requirements across critical third parties.
You will be working closely with business leaders, technology teams, risk owners, and external stakeholders, the Manager, ERM ensures that Teranet can effectively prepare for, respond to, and recover from operational disruptions while meeting contractual, regulatory, and stakeholder expectations. The role also contributes to strengthening enterprise operational resilience through oversight, reporting, and continuous improvement activities.

What You’ll Be Doing :
##
Business Continuity Program Management
- ## Lead the ongoing maturation of Teranet's BCM Program in alignment with industry-leading practices and organizational objectives.
- ## Maintain BCM policies, standards, methodologies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- ## Develop and execute the BCM roadmap, monitoring progress against maturity objectives and strategic priorities.
- ## Identify program gaps and drive remediation activities across business functions.

Business Impact Analysis & Continuity Planning
- ## Facilitate enterprise-wide Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and critical process assessments.
- ## Partner with business units to establish recovery priorities, recovery time objectives (RTOs), recovery point objectives (RPOs), recovery strategies, and continuity plans.
- ## Ensure continuity documentation remains current, actionable, and aligned with organizational requirements and regulatory expectations.

Testing, Exercising & Continuous Improvement
- ## Develop and coordinate continuity exercises, tabletop exercises, crisis management simulations, and recovery testing activities.
- ## Evaluate exercise outcomes, identify lessons learned, and establish corrective action plans.
- ## Track remediation activities and validate improvements through subsequent testing cycles.

Operational Resilience Governance & Reporting
- ## Develop and maintain BCM metrics, dashboards, key risk indicators (KRIs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- ## Prepare and present reporting to Senior Management, the Executive Leadership Team, and governance committees.
- ## Conduct periodic maturity assessments and monitor improvement initiatives.
- ## Monitor and report on business continuity, resilience, and disruption-related risks and trends.

Third-Party Resilience Oversight
- ## Assess the business continuity and operational resilience capabilities of critical vendors and service providers.
- ## Support third-party risk management activities related to resilience, continuity, and recovery capabilities.
- ## Monitor identified risks, remediation plans, and resilience obligations related to critical suppliers.

Training, Awareness & Stakeholder Engagement
- ## Develop and deliver BCM awareness programs and role-based training.
- ## Promote a culture of resilience across the organization.
- ## Provide advisory support to business units during continuity planning activities and operational disruption events.
- ## Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to strengthen continuity preparedness and resilience capabilities.

What you bring:
- ## Bachelor’s Degree and CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional) Certification
- ## 8+ years of experience in one or more of (with at least 5 years in Business Continuity Management)
- ## Demonstrated experience maturing a BCM program.
- ## Experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and dependency mapping.
- ## Experience developing and presenting BCM metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting to Senior Management and governance committees.
- ## Experience facilitating tabletop exercises, crisis simulations, and recovery testing activities.
- ## Experience working with external stakeholders.
- ## Experience supporting Internal Audit, regulatory reviews, and remediation programs.
- ## Experience providing advisory or consulting services related to business continuity, operational resilience, or risk management.

##
We believe in being upfront about pay and helping you make informed decisions about your career. The annual pay range for this role is $140,400 – 152,100 CAD , inclusive of base salary and target incentive pay. Your salary will be tailored to reflect the experience you bring and the impact you’re ready to have on this role.
