Evaluation Period: Annual performance evaluations if the student works the entire academic year. If the student works one semester, the performance evaluation will be completed after that semester

Purpose: The Advancement Services Co-Op will support Institutional Advancement by facilitating excellent stewardship of donors and alumni, as well as supporting data hygiene operations for IAs alumni and donor database.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Assist with stewardship management and contact information/profile updates in CRM database

- Assist with the processing and preparation of donor gift receipts and related documentation in accordance with established University procedures.

- Prepare Presidential acknowledgement letters, thank-you communications, birthday cards, pledge reminders, and other routine donor correspondence using established templates and procedures.

- Coordinate with designated University staff to obtain the President's signature on appropriate donor correspondence.

- Prepare, print, fold, stuff, label, and mail donor and constituent correspondence and other Institutional Advancement materials.

- Assist with organizing and preparing materials for special mailings or Institutional Advancement initiatives as assigned.

- Assist with the preparation and distribution of alumni identification cards and related materials.

- Monitor biographical and constituent information submitted through designated University web forms.

- Assist with prospect research and data hygiene activities.

- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications :

- Currently enrolled at Mount St. Joseph University

- Must have successfully completed or currently taking CED 220

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, including mail merge and simple formulas

Work Environment, Physical Demands:

- Multiple service hours; computer data input; multiple concurrent tasks with service interruptions; extensive customer contact; strict confidentiality; detailed work.
