Your role Key responsibilities in your new role

- Floor Support: Maintain a high-profile presence on the manufacturing floor to sustain and repair assembly and test equipment while coordinating with Facilities, Production, Process Engineering, and Technicians
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair of complex backend semiconductor assembly and test equipment
- Commissioning & Validation: Design and execute experiments to commission, validate, and qualify equipment for production and continuous improvement trials
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, and data failures using structured problem-solving and in-depth root cause analysis
- Continuous Improvement: Lead and participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and implement corrective actions to improve equipment uptime and process capability
- Documentation & CAD: Create and maintain CAD drawings, preventative maintenance procedures, fixtures, and technical documentation
- Data Integration: Support SPC implementation and ensure accurate data collection and reporting for equipment performance

Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

- Education: BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or closely related engineering degree
- Experience: Hands-on experience with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Tools: Proficient with AutoCAD or SolidWorks and comfortable using MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Analytics: Working knowledge of SPC, Minitab, or similar statistical tools is preferred and familiarity with Tableau is a plus
- Methodology: Practical experience or coursework in Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving approaches
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey technical information across organizational levels
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and able to draw conclusions from collected data
- Eligibility: US citizen or permanent resident required for export-controlled documentation access

Salary pay information:
Location Indicative salary range Leominster, MA United States Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate: US$  80,480  – US$ 100,600 Salary will depend on the highest level of education completed.
