Project Director – RPG8

Role:

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of grant goals, activities, and evaluation.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the management and implementation of the project goals and objectives and management plans to achieve the scope of project.

2. Complete required grant management program paperwork with Administration on Children and Families (ACF) and the Childrens Bureau (CB), including progress reports and continuation applications.

3. Ensure all project activities adhere to and promote ACF priorities.

4. Attend entrance and annual grantee meetings and/or assure other individuals as appropriate attend the required meetings.

5. Take a leadership role and participate in collaborative activities required and/or recommended on behalf of ACF, i.e. participation in national evaluation, collaboration with other RPG grantees and participation in training and technical assistance activities.

6. Ensure Planning and Implementation Phases are completed on or before due dates.

7. Coordinate schedules with other program staff and/or Crittenton Center employees to participate in RPG activities as necessary to create an exemplary regional partnership.

8. Work with the IT department for activities for the installation, training, and maintenance of technology for grant services, data collection, and uploading reports.

9. Provide supervision for the Performance & Quality Improvement (PQI) Manager for implementation of job responsibilities necessary to accomplish grant activities.

10. Work with the VP of Finance and Administration to ensure financial reports are completed and uploaded as required.

11. Coordinate contractual agreements with the Crittenton Senior Leadership Team, as necessary, to comply with agency policies/procedures, including clinical services and PQI.

12. Oversee data collection and tracking of project activities with project evaluators.

13. Facilitate Regional Partnership board meetings and ensure members are actively involved and engaged in project activities and new members are recruited and retained.

14. Support facilitation and engagement of the agency Youth Steering Committee.

15. Direct implementation of program plans, such as evaluation, training, marketing and outreach, and systems collaboration with project partners and contracted entities.

16. Facilitate planning and implementation of sustainability planning with the Senior Leadership Team, project partners, project evaluators, and the Federal Project Team.

17. Create a project Toolkit to highlight project activities to strengthen, sustain, disseminate, and replicate the project.

Qualifications for Position:

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree & five years of experience in program development. Supervisory Relationships - Reports to: VP of Children and Family Services.

Skills and Knowledge Required:

Computer Knowledge and Facilitation Experience, Data Collection and Reporting.

Personal Qualities:

Organizational skills and enthusiasm for starting new projects.

Amount of Travel & Other Special Conditions:

Valid Iowa Drivers License; Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; may include some nights or weekends.
