What You will Do:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development, detailing.
- Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Design change Management and PLM.
- Create detailed 3D models, general arrangements, and manufacturing production drawings with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience in Sheet metal, Material selection, Welding and Corrosion protection and Machining.
- Manage design changes, Bill of Materials (BOM) and revision control protocols.
- Experience design validation, Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), Hand calculations, Tolerance stack up and reference standard (ASME & ANSI).
- Ensure on-time delivery (OTD) and First time Yield.
- Exceptional leadership, conflict resolution, cross-functional communication, and project scheduling capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
What You Will Bring:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on mechanical design experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or supervisory capacity.
- NPI projects specifically for E-houses, modular buildings, plant rooms, or heavy industrial enclosures.
- Familiarity with international standards for industrial enclosures and electrical safety (e.g. NEC, IEC, NEMA classifications) is added advantage.
- Software: Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (including sheet metal, frame, and large assembly management) and AutoCAD.
Pay Range: $90,000 to $120,000/year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, Texas
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
