What You will Do:

- Perform Finite Element Analysis of Enclosure/Gas Turbine/Steam Turbine/ Wind Turbines/Aero engine/ Turbo machinery components using ANSYS Classic, Ansys workbench and UGNX.
- Knowledge of Hypermesh will be an added advantage.
- Should understand the physics of the problem & offer simplified FEM solution to customer.
- Develop approach note for the project, Estimate time required to perform the analysis & perform feasibility study.
- Must be able to perform FE analysis independently & present to customer.
- Collaborate with the technical Leads & Project leads in scheduling deliverables of each activity.
- Take part in internal technical reviews as well as customer reviews.

What You Will Bring:

- Mechanical Engineer with 8+ years of experience in the field of Engineering Analysis.
- Must have sound knowledge in working principles of Enclosure/Gas Turbine/Steam Turbine/ Wind Turbines/Wind Turbines/Aero engine/ Turbo machinery & should have hands on experience in performing Analysis on mechanical components.
- Must Have excellent understanding of Stress Analysis, thermal, Dynamic & Fatigue Life evaluation
- Should have sound knowledge of Strengths of materials & Fracture mechanics.
- Should have ability to simplify the physical problem to mathematical model using FEM, techniques.
- Must have excellent understanding of FINITE ELEMENT METHODS
- Must have good experience in ANSYS Workbeach. Experience in APDL/Classic will be an added advantage.

Pay Range: $90,000 to $120,000/ year

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

Work Requirements:

This role is considered an on-site position located in Houston, Texas
• You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
• Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking

Travel Requirements:

Due to the nature of the work, 0% of travel is required.
