The Commercial Banking Services Director is responsible for the leadership and effectiveness of PSECU’s commercial real estate and Small Business Lending operations. This position is responsible for expanding the credit unions Small Business portfolio and stand up a new Commercial real Estate practice, while maintaining the highest standards of risk management and regulatory compliance. Requires a strategic leader with a profound understanding of the real estate market, small business market, risk assessment, and financial regulations.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Onsite requirement is 60%; 3 days a week.
In this position, you will
- Develop and implement strategies to grow PSECU’s commercial real estate and business loan portfolio.
- Oversee the origination, structuring, underwriting, closing, and servicing of commercial real estate and small business loans.
- Lead market analysis to identify new lending opportunities and emerging market trends.
- Collaborate with risk management teams to ensure compliance with Regulatory standards and eternal risk policies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, real estate developers, brokers, CUSOs and other industry stakeholders.
- Provide mentorship and leadership to the CRE and Small business team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage the portfolio's performance, including monitoring credit quality in portfolio risk.
- Participate in senior management meetings, contributing to broader Credit Union, Strategy and Policy making.
- Must comply with and meet all requirements regarding the Secure and Fair Enforcement for Mortgage Licensing Act (SAFE Act, 12 CFR 1007).

Qualifications:
Bachelors: Finance, Bachelors (Required)
A minimum of ten years of experience, with at least five years in a leadership role | Required
Any equivalent combination of experience and education. | Required
