As a part-time (working approximately 20 hours per week) Aquatics Lead in Rochester Hills, MI , you'll help oversee daily pool operations, ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for members, support engaging aquatic programs, and maintain high standards throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of water chemistry and public pool sanitation practices and is willing to obtain Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification within 30-60 days of hire.
Hours: Monday-Sunday, any time between 5am-9pm, flexible

Responsible for safety, member engagement, and the quality of the aquatic programs during your shifts. You will be responsible for pool deck maintenance and aquatic facility supervision.
Key Accountabilities
- Monitor patrons using the facility and enforce/explain rules as necessary. Respond appropriately to any emergency situations.
- Track and monitor pool chemistry results and report facility issues to Aquatics Manager and General Manager.
- Provide leadership to facility cleaning, pool deck maintenance, and aquatic program supervision.
- Assist Aquatics Manager with staff communications and attend all required staff meetings and trainings. Provide customer service and communication with members.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Certified Pool Operator certification within 60 days of hire.
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.
Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. The compensation range for this role is $17/hr - $22/hr. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
