- Est. Years of Experience: 7 to 9 years in data or systems analysis, including 4+ years with HR or HRIS data
Role Summary: HR data domain expert on the team. Translates EM's HR metrics (forcecount, Management Trainee retention, PIP cadence, schedule usage) into precise, certified data definitions that engineers can build and Power BI teams can trust. Bridges HR, HRIS, and D&A stakeholders on one side and the engineering team on the other.
Responsibilities:
Interpret EM's Power BI requirements template and convert the 5 metric domains into documented metric definitions and business rules
Define calculation logic for metrics such as Forcecount (averaged over 36 points in time), All-In retention, MT 120-Day retention, Source of Hire, and Reviews Past Due
Map Workday, Dayforce, and PeopleSoft source fields to Silver dimensions and Gold assets
Facilitate source data validation with HRIS and HR stakeholders at the Bronze-to-Silver boundary
Write the data certification criteria for each of the 15 certified data assets and manage sign-off
Resolve conflicts between metric definitions across teams and record decisions
Define test cases and acceptance criteria, and lead reconciliation of results with HR owners
Support the Systems Analyst on documentation, UAT, and defect triage
Flag scope changes and open items (for example, Hiring App Flow) to the technical lead
Technical Skills:
HR metrics and workforce analytics (headcount, retention, turnover, hiring, mobility, performance reviews, scheduling and hours)
Workday HCM data model and reporting, and Dayforce time and scheduling data
PeopleSoft HCM data structures
Advanced SQL for data profiling, validation, and reconciliation
Metric and data dictionary design
Dimensional modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, grain, conformed dimensions)
Business requirements and user story documentation
Power BI report and dashboard literacy, and requirements for certified datasets
Sensitive HR data handling and privacy practices
Jira or Azure DevOps Boards for backlog management
