This position will be directly supporting the Orion Program Senior Manager for the initiation through completion and by driving, but not limited to, the below priorities:
* Program level Safety & Mission Assurance & NASA Customer Deliverables
* Non-conformance and Open Item Management & Cross-Program Engagement
* Create and Maintain Centralized NC Repository, Dashboards and reporting
* Corrective Action Board Oversight & Trend/Root Cause Analytics
* Produce standardized weekly/monthly NC analytics reports for program managers, senior leadership, and customers, highlighting key trends, root‑cause insights, and CAPA progress.
* Prepare executive briefings and visual storyboards for senior leadership reviews, emphasizing actionable intelligence and risk mitigation status.
* Orion Quality Performance Data Review & Respective Action Plan Creations
* Weekly Significant Item / Item of Interest Communications
* NASA/DCMA Customer Engagement & Request Resolution
* Programmatic Cost Account Management Engagement
Standard Job Description
Manages the implementation and execution of program quality requirements. Responsible for all aspects of Quality across the programs life-cycle including proposals, contract review, start-up, development, transition to production, production and support. Requires an understanding of quality tasks across quality functions including hardware, software, systems and suppliers/subcontractors, and customers. Proficient in company policies. Partners with program teams as the Quality Lead for design, development, production and mobilization phases of program execution. Performs contract reviews and flows down contract quality requirements to quality team, including suppliers. Establishes quality budgets and cost commitments. Serves on the program area Risk and Opportunity Review Boards; nominates risks and opportunities. Ensures Quality Assurance Plans are documented and current and implemented. Schedules and ensures assessments of program (e.g. quality audits). Participates in independent program reviews to understand risks and drive Return to Green plans. Maintains a DCMA/Customer quality relationship. Establishes and maintains effective Quality Program Team business rhythm.
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline (e.g. engineering field) or equivalent discipline (e.g. math, physics, software, etc.).
* Proven experience utilizing quality metrics and data to generate and follow through measureable action plans.
* Experience interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Ability to support weekend and 2nd shift as needed for mission critical support.
* Possess a strong use of computer systems related to documenting and tracking non-conformances.
* Ability to achieve and maintain certification in technical skills as required by the role.
* Quality and Manufacturing technical experience.
* Data Analysis / trend management experience.
* US Citizenship required.
Desired Skills
* Experienced with Preliminary Review (PR) and Material Review Board (MRB).
* Experience generating Tableau dashboards or utilizing other software systems to develop and maintain quality metrics.
* Demonstrated ability presenting to senior level leadership and customers
* Current QMRB certification is a plus
* Demonstrated knowledge of nonconformance handling and disposition.
* Experience in Design/Test Readiness/Manufacturing Readiness Reviews
* Significant knowledge of Quality Systems and Processes (inclusive of AS9100 audit experience).
* Significant government (DCMA/DOD/NASA) relations experience.
* Significant experience in SAP operating systems, Automation Framework, EPDM, P2P, and/or APRISO
* Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules
* Experience with human spaceflight NASA/DCMA customers
* Experience with spacecraft processing.
* Ability to develop performance metrics and take appropriate action
* Experience with program management and project management tools
* Understanding of export control and ITAR requirements for working with international suppliers
* Experience with working in an ATLO environment
* Significant experience with Root Cause Corrective Action analysis
* Current RCCA certification is a plus
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
