The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of Supply Chain, and will leave with a large network, invaluable skills, and significant industry knowledge.In this role, you will:Support the development and execution of acquisition strategyDevelop and populate bill of materialsPlace and administer purchase ordersManage projects to ensure on-time delivery of materials for critical defense effortsLearn industry systems and toolsWork directly with a mentorBuild a professional network through social events and activitiesThis is a fully remote role and does not require being physically located at a specific Lockheed Martin facility. The candidate must be able to commit to working 40 hours per week during the summer internship term.
Basic Qualifications
* Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate degree program in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related field, with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
* Applicant should have a strong desire to become a Supply Chain professional, with proficiency in MS Office, data analysis, and reporting tools.
* U.S. citizenship is required due to system access.

Pay Information
GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.
* Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $25.18 - $35.19
* Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.
* Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $22.66 - $31.67
* Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.
* Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $20.14 - $28.15
* Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas–Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
* Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $18.31 - $25.59
* Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
