Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Strategy & Operations, the Registrar provides leadership across all functional areas in the Office of the Registrar servicing Berklee College of Music, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, Berklee NYC, and Berklee Valencia. Managing a team of 10, this leader ensures the accuracy, security, and integrity of academic records while driving system optimization via Workday Student. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Academic Operations:
- Team Management: Recruit, select, and manage a team of 10 staff members, conducting performance evaluations and setting strategic priorities.
- Academic Execution: Oversee degree conferrals, degree audits, grading, academic standing, course registration, transfer evaluations, and academic calendars across all global campuses.
- Compliance & Audits: Meet local, state, and federal reporting mandates, lead key items for annual college audits, and enforce compliance guidelines.
Workday Student & Technological Innovation:
- System Ownership: Build, maintain, and audit academic rules in Workday Student, serving on the Workday Operations Committee for change control and cross-functional alignment.
- Process Modernization: Implement business process workflows, evaluate semi-annual Workday feature releases, and drive the sunsetting of legacy systems (Colleague, PowerCampus).
- Data & Analytics: Leverage Informer reporting and analytics to optimize decision-making, maintain data security, and streamline TES workflows.
Cross-Institutional Collaboration & Engagement:
- Departmental Alignment: Partner with One Stop, Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Success Advising, Academic Affairs, and IT to harmonize student services.
- Commencement & Community: Support commencement events, serve on campus committees, engage with professional organizations, and advance institutional diversity.
What You'll Bring
- Education & Experience: Master’s degree in education or related field required, with 8–10 years of experience in higher education records and registration services.
- Workday Student Mastery: Direct experience implementing, upgrading, and managing the Workday Student information system.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Workday Student, Colleague, PowerCampus, TES, Informer reporting, and business process redesign.
- Core Competencies: Highly developed organizational leadership, analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills, with a commitment to diversity.

Hiring Range: $145,000 to $170,000 ; salary dependent on experience and education.
