About this role

Job Description:

Reporting to the Registrar, the Senior Associate Registrar for Student Systems Operations provides functional leadership for Berklee's administrative software systems. Leading a team of four (two Associate Registrars, an Assistant Registrar, and an Operations Specialist), this role plays a pivotal part in the final phase of an institute-wide Workday Student ERP implementation, driving data integration, testing, change management, and long-term operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Workday Implementation & Team Leadership:

- Team Management: Lead and mentor the Student Systems Operations team, establishing goals, evaluating best practices, and overseeing documentation.
- Workday ERP Transition: Drive discovery, testing, data integration, and change management for the Workday Student rollout, managing system usage post-implementation.
- Process Optimization: Align curricular, process, and system needs across legacy tools (Colleague, PowerCampus) and Workday Student.

Systems Oversight, Reporting & Data Integrity:

- Systems Leadership: Oversee system development, scheduling, integrations, and testing across software platforms (Colleague, PowerCampus, Workday, Informer, MS Access).
- Reporting & Analytics: Write queries and reports (SQL, Unidata, Informer) to deliver actionable management analytics.
- Data Security & Hygiene: Safeguard data integrity, user access governance, and record confidentiality across all registrar tools.

Compliance & Campus Outreach:

- FERPA Governance: Ensure strict adherence to FERPA and privacy regulations governing student records.
- Training & Collaboration: Conduct outreach, develop training, and partner with cross-functional campus teams in a decentralized, fast-paced environment.

What You'll Bring

- Higher Ed Experience: 6+ years at the intersection of higher education student services and technology, with demonstrated managerial experience.
- SIS Mastery: Extensive experience with Student Information Systems (Colleague, PowerCampus, or Workday ); query writing skills in SQL/Unidata (MS Access or Informer).
- Implementation Expertise: Hands-on experience with SIS implementations, system testing, integrations, and change management highly preferred.
- Core Skills: Strategic problem-solving, self-motivation, strong communication, and deep knowledge of FERPA compliance.

Hiring Range: $95,000 to $125,000 ; salary dependent on experience and education.
