Inventory Data Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Data Specialist to support inventory accuracy and master data management within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for collecting, measuring, verifying, and maintaining critical inventory information, including product dimensions, weights, and packaging specifications. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable splitting their time between an office setting and a warehouse environment. This position plays a key role in ensuring inventory records are accurate and complete, helping support efficient operations, planning, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Measure pallet, container, and inventory item dimensions, including length, width, and height using designated tools and equipment.
- Weigh pallets, containers, and inventory items and accurately document findings.
- Enter inventory measurements, weights, and related information into the ERP system and Microsoft Excel.
- Review inventory and master data records to identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when updating and validating inventory records.
- Follow established data collection and inventory management procedures.
- Verify inventory items and part information within the warehouse to ensure data integrity.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in partnership with Warehouse, Inventory Control, and Planning teams.
- Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
- Assist with additional inventory-related projects and data management initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in data entry, inventory administration, inventory control, or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Comfortable working both at a desk and within a warehouse environment.
- Experience using ERP systems; Epicor experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of precision and focus.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
