Job Summary and Responsibilities
As an IT Program Manager, you will provide strategic oversight for a portfolio of high-impact virtual health initiatives, serving as a pivotal leader in the digital transformation of CommonSpirit Health. You will be responsible for orchestrating cross-functional teams, driving organizational change, and optimizing the integration of people, processes, and products to deliver superior virtual care solutions. By spearheading resource allocation and prioritizing complex initiatives, you will ensure that our digital health ecosystem aligns with long-range performance standards and clinical objectives.
Every day you will operate autonomously to steer critical projects through the entire lifecycle, applying advanced methodologies to manage complex, large-scale initiatives. You will engage directly with clinical and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable roadmaps, while simultaneously developing business intelligence and data visualization reporting to inform executive decision-making. Your focus will be on directing by exception, proactively identifying potential risks to project outcomes, and validating delivery recommendations to maintain the highest quality of operational excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will possess a deep understanding of IT project management and organizational change management, with a proven ability to assess enterprise-wide impacts and build robust contingency plans. You will need to be a strategic thinker capable of restructuring organizational resources and influencing cross-organizational decisions. A successful candidate will demonstrate mastery in continuous process improvement, contributing to the evolution of project management methodologies while fostering a culture of agility and innovation within the digital health space.

- Strategic Program Oversight: Provide end-to-end management of complex virtual health initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and long-range performance standards.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between clinical and business leaders to drive key imperatives and facilitate cross-organizational decision-making.
- Change Management: Assess, plan, and lead enterprise-wide organizational change, developing contingency strategies to ensure successful adoption.
- Resource & Priority Management: Define strategic areas of responsibility, including the restructuring of significant organizational resources and the prioritization of work streams.
- BI & Data Analytics: Design and implement business intelligence tools and data visualization reporting to support data-driven decision-making processes.
- Methodology Optimization: Direct projects by exception and contribute to the continuous improvement of the project management lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
Job Requirements
Bachelors or equivalent work experience Preferred
7+ years of project management experience Required
Project Management experience in a Health care environment Preferred
