About this role

The POA Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the community's facilities, common areas, recreational amenities, equipment, and property in a safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained condition.

While the position includes routine maintenance responsibilities such as cleaning, changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and general property upkeep, these duties represent only one portion of the role. The Maintenance Technician will regularly participate in a wide variety of hands-on maintenance, repair, construction-type, and property improvement projects throughout the community.

The ideal candidate is a skilled, dependable, hands-on individual who is comfortable working on different types of projects and can troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, and adapt to changing priorities from day to day.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance and general upkeep of community buildings, common areas, amenities, and grounds.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance involving basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, fixtures, and other general property repairs.
- Replace light bulbs, fixtures, filters, hardware, and other maintenance items as needed.
- Assist with construction-type projects, renovations, repairs, and property improvements throughout the community.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on recreational facilities, including tennis courts and other recreational courts and amenities .
- Assist with facility repairs, equipment maintenance, installations, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose maintenance issues and determine appropriate repair or corrective action.
- Operate and maintain various hand tools, power tools, equipment, and maintenance machinery safely.
- Assist with moving, assembling, installing, repairing, and maintaining furniture, fixtures, equipment, and community property.
- Perform painting, pressure washing, cleaning, patching, caulking, and other property maintenance tasks.
- Maintain pools, recreational areas, buildings, and other community facilities as assigned.
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Inspect common areas and facilities and report safety hazards, damage, or maintenance concerns to management.
- Assist outside contractors and vendors when necessary and provide access or support as directed.
- Maintain an organized maintenance shop, tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Provide assistance during community events, special projects, emergencies, or other situations requiring maintenance support.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.

Full-Time M-F 7am-4pm

Pay Rate: $23
