The Systems Analyst supports architecture governance, security and compliance processes, and program decision management activities. This role maintains the operating artifacts and documentation required to make architecture, security, compliance, and decision governance repeatable, traceable, and auditable. The Systems Analyst works closely with program leadership, architects, security teams, and government stakeholders to ensure risks, decisions, actions, and compliance obligations are documented, tracked, and communicated effectively.

Job Location

Remote, with the ability to support client meetings and collaboration activities as required.

What You Will Do

- Maintain architecture governance artifacts, decision logs, Architecture Review Board (ARB) materials, and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

- Support development and maintenance of exception registers, compliance documentation, traceability matrices, and governance reports.

- Coordinate security documentation requests and collect audit and compliance evidence for assessments and reviews.

- Track risks, issues, action items, mitigation plans, owners, and due dates, ensuring visibility to the Program Manager and client stakeholders.

- Support Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) reporting activities and performance documentation.

- Prepare meeting agendas, capture meeting outputs, document decisions, and maintain records of resulting actions.

- Maintain traceability between approved standards, governance decisions, and implementation activities.

- Produce recurring status reports, process documentation, and governance metrics.

- Collaborate with technical, security, and program teams to ensure documentation remains accurate, complete, and current.

- Assist with audit readiness efforts and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Basic Requirements

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements.

- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.

- Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Business Analysis, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or a high school diploma with four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.

- Minimum three (3) years of relevant Systems Analyst experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree may substitute for two (2) years of relevant experience.

- Experience supporting architecture governance, program governance, compliance management, risk management, or enterprise technology modernization initiatives.

- Experience maintaining architecture repositories, decision logs, risk registers, issue logs, action trackers, compliance documentation, and governance reporting artifacts.

- Familiarity with Architecture Review Boards (ARBs), technical governance reviews, design approvals, and Architecture Decision Record (ADR) processes.

- Experience supporting enterprise architecture documentation including reference architectures, solution blueprints, standards, waivers, exceptions, and implementation guidance.

- Experience maintaining Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), exception registers, compliance evidence repositories, audit records, and governance workflows.

- Experience tracking architecture, security, compliance, and governance decisions to ensure traceability, accountability, and audit readiness.

- Experience supporting security authorization activities, ATO documentation, compliance reviews, security assessments, POA&M tracking, and risk remediation activities.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance frameworks including NIST 800-53, Zero Trust Architecture, FedRAMP, FIPS, RMF, and Federal security controls.

- Familiarity with modern cloud and data platform environments including Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Terraform, enterprise data governance tools, and analytics platforms.

- Experience collaborating with Architects, Security Engineers, Product Managers, Program Leadership, Governance teams, Compliance teams, and Government stakeholders.

- Experience developing governance dashboards, status reports, executive briefings, action-item reporting, compliance summaries, and leadership communications.

- Experience documenting risks, assumptions, dependencies, action items, decisions, and compliance obligations to support repeatable and auditable program operations.

- Experience supporting audits, independent assessments, governance reviews, operational readiness reviews, and regulatory compliance activities.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical and governance information for technical and non-technical audiences.

- Experience supporting Federal government, healthcare, or other highly regulated environments required.

- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams supporting cloud, analytics, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or enterprise platform modernization initiatives.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is :
$81,499.00 - $138,549.00
