Position Summary
We are seeking a Revit Drafter / BIM Modeler to join our growing BIM team. In this fully remote role, you will develop detailed 3D models and construction drawings for mechanical piping systems, coordinate with project teams, and support fabrication and installation efforts on a major campus expansion project.
What You'll Do
- Create accurate 3D Revit models for mechanical piping systems and pipe supports
- Develop detailed construction, fabrication, and installation drawings
- Coordinate piping layouts with other building trades to resolve clashes and improve constructability
- Ensure models and drawings meet project requirements, industry standards, and company quality expectations
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout the project lifecycle
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of Revit modeling experience, preferably within mechanical, piping, HVAC, plumbing, or industrial construction
- Experience using Revit, AutoCAD, or other Autodesk modeling software
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and structural drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Minimum of 2 years of college coursework or equivalent technical training
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical piping systems and pipe support design
- Familiarity with strut systems, threaded rod, beam clamps, anchors, trapeze hangers, and specialty supports
- Understanding of construction sequencing, coordination, and installation practices
- Experience working in a BIM-driven construction environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
